You’re here because you love dancing. You decided to take a step further and see how far you can push yourself to achieve great results on a dance-floor. You know it’s not just about learning dance steps but you want to become a dancer who has great knowledge in other domains of dance:
- Your performance and artistry
- Your mental preparation and attitude
- Your rehearsals and own practice
- Techniques to bring your dancing to life
- Social dancing and fun that dance offers
You want to be a well-rounded dancer with great confidence on any dance-floor. That’s so important. Whether you want it to be a part of your life or create just a single moment, you’re in the right place and I know how to help you.
But where do you start?
You want to become the best dancer you can possibly be, but you’re not sure what to do. You always feel that you can do more. But does it mean just taking more lessons?
You’re passionate about dancing so you spend every moment watching videos and reading books about it. It’s difficult to find the right information and very often you get confused which dance advice is right for you. Sounds familiar?
I’ve been there, too
I started dancing when I was 14 and ever since I’ve been dancing every single day. All the steps I was taking had one goal in mind- to be the best dancer I can possibly be. I know it’s not easy and there were many moments when I struggled to stay focused and keep dancing.
At the age of 19, I decided to move to England and train with the best teachers in the World. What a journey that has been… From travelling around the World to compete and perform, to turning professional and qualifying as a dance teacher.
I represented Poland, Ukraine and Denmark in International competitions including Blackpool Dance Festival, World Dance Championships in France, Ukraine, The Netherlands etc.
Movement fascinates me which is why I study and train in other forms of dance including ballet and contemporary. I used to train at the Royal Opera House. The style of my Ballroom and Latin American dancing is hugely influenced by these forms.
To support growth and my development as a director and a principal teacher I am an active member of the most prominent dance organizations:
International Dance Teachers’ Associations
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
British Dance Council
World Dance Council
Ballroom Dancers Federation
I am a fully qualified Ballroom and Latin American Dance instructor, dance competitions and championships adjudicator.
Can I help you dance?
Everyday I work with dancers and help them fall in love with dancing, achieve results at competitions, and impress with their confidence on the dance-floor. My mission is to give you ideas and tools you need to stop “doing” and start “dancing”.
Through my eBooks (like 7 Dance Competition Hacks), numerous blog articles, plus the YouTube video channel (marcinlondon.uk) and podcast- I’m creating a platform for all dancers of all levels. Every day, I see people improving their dancing and really enjoying the magic of movement. I hope you’ll join me.
